Easton and Bailey Turned 5

Easton and Bailey turned 5 this week! They have gotten so grown up over the last couple of months. They were incredibly excited. We gave them their first kid party. Some of their friends came from preschool as well as all of the local family. They had Baskin Robbins ice cream cakes, transformer for E-man and Barbie for Bailey Bug. All gifts were a hit. Transformers (more than one) for Easton and a pink tutu with pink croc boots for Bailey. They also got BIG boy and girl bikes without training wheels. The kids had a blast, mom was a little sad.

American Idol Night at the Bergen's

So American Idol has become a night at the Bergen House. Easton is actually here just in the beanbag on the floor. Everyone got their pj's on, popcorn and made themselves comfortable. It made for a really fun night with the kids. Gabby is even in on the action:)

I am throwing this one on here not only because it is a good picture of Ariel and Michaela but because it has my Princess Gabby in it. For those of you who don't know I got a Yorkie last spring. SO Joe didn't want a dog and I got her anyways. I have heard from many that their husbands would leave them if they got an animal against their wishes. Well, I don't have much remorse (as, if he left me over a dog I would be seriously disappointed in him) but I do have to wonder what I have taught my girls. Michaela really wants a rabbit. I mean really wants a rabbit. I really am ok with it and would definitely say yes. Well, Joe is really against it. I told Michaela that it was ok with me but she was going to have to work on her dad. This is where you have to keep a straight face as a parent. Her answer back to me was, "why mom? You got a dog when he didn't want one." We all have to pick our battles and told her this one was hers.
This year's Christmas picture was a lot of fun to take. Not only because I did it but because the kids are all getting to an age where it isn't as hard to get them to all get together. I know "enjoy it now" because when the teenage years come it gets hard again. Hopefully they will take it easy on me. I'll keep dreaming about that one:)
Easton and Bailey are turning 5 next week. Talk about sad. I know they don't think so but their mom is having a really hard time with it. My babies are growing up.
Michaela turned 7 in November. I know I hear all the time how time flies but truly I feel like she was just a baby, now look at her a young lady.
